Messy Church

Church for all the family and all ages!

What is Messy Church?
Messy Church is church for those who don't get on with the traditional service, it's also for those who do get on with traditional church but wish to explore Christian worship in new ways. It's also for those of us who want to have fun when we come to church.

You've got to admit it, life is messy. Not everyone is made the same and not everyone experiences things the same. We all learn at different speeds and we all want to express our worship in different ways. Messy Church is designed so that everyone can join in at their own pace and we can learn and experience God through crafts, games, and sharing our time together.

Why is it Messy?
It is a messy form of church not only because of the use of crafts as part of the exploration of faith and worship but because the process is open to change as the experience happens...just like life.

Who is it for?
In a word...'Everyone'. Young, old, families, children, couples, singles,
grandparents...all are welcome and all are able to join in.

Traditional church is not for everyone but you can involve yourself in
Messy Church as much as you wish. Express yourself or just enjoy
the experience of others.

Next session: 14th Sept 2008 in the Moore Memorial Hall 9.30am - 11am
