Worship

Meetings for worship are held on Sundays at 10.45 am.
These services are led by Circuit Ministers and by Local (lay) Preachers. On special Sundays e.g. Mothering Sunday, Education Sunday, Carol Services the service is arranged to cater for all ages.

We usually use 'Hymns and Psalms' for our hymns, but we also use 'Common Ground' and other sources particularly when the Young People's Music Group lead our worship which they do on regular occasions.

Holy Communion is normally celebrated once per month.

Activities for children are provided in the hall below the chapel.

Each Sunday, after morning service, coffee is served in the hall below the chapel. On the second Sunday of each month when there is a Fairtrade Stall members from other churches join in this time of fellowship.

A Prayer

We praise you for the rhythm of life,
that in all the changing scenes of life,
you are our covenant companion.
From the past we can build on,
to the future which calls us,
you are our faithful companion.
When we fail, feel broken and lost,
you are our restoring companion.
When life is new and fresh,
or when we are tired and weary,
you are our enabling companion.
Never-changing, new-every-morning God,
hold us in your covenant love now and always. Amen
Amen
