Bamford Methodist Church Who We are - young people and children

	Young People The Sunday Group for those aged 4 to 16 years shares the first 10 – 15 minutes of the morning service and then continues separately in the rooms below. Some sessions are organised jointly with the Quaker Community. New members welcome. Contact Joanna on 01433 651535
	On the Sundays when the Sunday Group does not meet activities are provided for children whose parents are attending the morning service.
		The Music Group consists of members and former members of The Sunday Group and a few others. Members of this group play clarinet, flute, violin, recorder, trumpet and piano. The group accompanies hymn singing in church and on other occasions. New members are always welcome whatever their playing ability.
	Bamford Story Keepers is an after-school club with a Christian ethos for children from Year 2 to Year 6 inclusive. It meets once a week during term time from 3.30 pm to 5.00 pm. Sessions include games, stories, craft, singing and fun. Hazel, the group leader is provided by Hope Valley Youth Work and assisted by volunteers from the church. Contact Jennifer 01433 651663
	Leaders and volunteers dealing directly with children and young people have CRB clearance.

	Children from the after-school clubs connected with the Hope Valley Youth Work Association enjoy a Fun Day at Bamford during the Bamford Carnival Week.
